The Nuclear Medicine department has been functioning on an academical level since 2004 and on a clinical level since 2007. The department participates in the educational courses of the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Thessaly, as well as in the clinical and research activities of the University Hospital of Larissa, conducting all the in-vitro and scintigraphic (SPECT) examinations of Nuclear Medicine.
