Boosting a novel and innovative tRAining approaCh of Key Enabling Technologies (BRACKET)

Τhe European project "BRACKET" - Boosting a novel and innovative training approaCh of Key Enabling Technologies is a novel Vocational Education & Training (VET) program under the framework of ERASMUS+, aiming to develop an electronic platform for training and education in the fields of Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, and Advanced Materials, in which the University participates, along with 6 more partners from 6 European countries. During the project the main priorities and expectations of stakeholders and the main educational content in the 3 aforementioned topics have been defined. On behalf of University of Thessaly professors Panagiotis Plageras, Ioannis Giavasis, Giorgos Ntalos and Konstantinos Petrotos take part in the consortium. 1) "BRACKET Poster presentation presented in INTED2020 Congress"
At the 14th International Technology, Education and Development Conference - INTED2020, Valencia, Spain, March 2-4, 2020 the paper "COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS ON GENERAL NEEDS BY VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING TOWARDS KEY ENABLING TECHNOLOGIES" was presented by the authors D. DeVallance (1), A. Farkaš (2), I. Giavasis (3), K. Horvatinčić (2), A. Muñoz (4), G. Ntalos (3), P. Plageras (3), A. Ruk (2), S. Tišma (2) from the following institutions: InnoRenew CoE, University of Primorska (SLOVENIA) (1), Institute for Development and International Relations (CROATIA) (2), University of Thessaly (GREECE) (3), Asociación empresarial de investigación centro tecnológico del mueble y la madera de la Región de Murcia (SPAIN) (4). The paper presents the results of comparative analysis on general needs by Vocational Education and Training towards Key Enabling Technologies (Biotechnology, Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials) in six countries – Spain, Greece, Croatia, Latvia, Poland and Slovenia. The research was realised through the Erasmus+ BRACKET project “Boosting a novel and innovative training approach of key enabling technologies”. Full abstract is accesible here:
