The Lab aims to cover educational and research activities in the areas of data structuring and engineering, like Database indexing, Information retrieval and Web, Scientific and parallel computing, Cloud computing and distributing systems, Education technologies, as well as to pursuit research collaboration and knowledge exchange with other research organizations and institutes and develop activities with local organizations, enterprises and authorities in order to improve the quality of services and products and productivity in general.
